Healing: The Lost Gospel is an in-depth look at Isaiah 53: 4-5. It is certain that the gospel of salvation of the soul is founded on this scripture but there is one other gospel founded on this passage as well. This Lost Gospel was alive and well in the first centuries of the Church but has waned in prominence where it is barely mentioned in many churches today. This series address how this loss came about and how it can be resurrected again.

Last week I addressed your trinity:

Body – Soul – Spirit

You consist of all three components at birth. When you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, then God fills you with the Holy Spirit. You are then under contract to transform the carnal state of your body, soul and spirit into His temple, the house where God dwells on Earth.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Amplified Bible

¹⁹Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]?

²⁰You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body.

When you go to church, you are not going to meet God there, you are bringing Him there as active participant in acts of worship.

From Adam’s Fall (Genesis chapter 3) until now there has been a war raging inside all humankind. It is an age-old struggle between two internal entities, the spirit and the flesh. Each are in battle to win the “heart” of the soul.
