We are continuing the study of the Seven Dispensations of Man. As a reminder, dispensations are time periods that show the evolution of God’s relationship with man from creation to the end of this world. The focus in this publication is on the Dispensation of Human Government, the third dispensation. Common to each dispensation is the focus on a particular people, a falling away from God, a judgment, and a promise.

Seven Dispensations of Man – The Dispensation of Innocence

God created a system of measurement to encompass human history called Time. Time enveloped herself within the endlessness of Eternity, making her first appearance in God’s creative acts in Genesis chapter 1 and continuing until this present heaven and earth are destroyed in Revelation chapter 21. With this destruction, Time will be no more and Eternity, currently on pause, takes front and center again. In the meantime, from a biblical perspective the human story is told in time periods called dispensations. Each dispensation is directed to a people and through a chain of events result in a judgment and a promise. This is the first in a series about the Seven Dispensations of Man.
