21 Day Journey – Deep Waters – He Spoke
It’s Day 21 of the 21 Day Journey!
For those who joined me, although challenging, I trust that your journey has been as joyous and intriguing. Talk about a honeymoon with the Lord! With the focus on just Him, everything else silenced, God has spoken.
This writing consists of some things the Lord dropped into my spirit that I would like to share with you.
His Will for Me
The first thing my Father laid on me is His will for my life. The revelation of his will was general, no specifics. It was a revelation of trust. Do I trust Him to take me where He wants me to go without knowing the details?
My response was “Yes.”
Then He asked, “Are you ready?”
I answered, “I’m ready.”
He asked again, “Are you ready?
With my whole heart I answered “I’m ready.”
People, I can’t tell you what that all will entail. It is a covenant of trust. My trust in Him. If you are walking with God in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16), He will take you to places you haven’t been and you’ll do things you didn’t think you could. And you couldn’t, not in your own strength. There’s something about leaning back and laying your weight on God where you relinquish your efforts and give the steering wheel to him.
Released!
During this Fast, a senior Christian friend had just recently started dialysis and had taken a fall at home. She was taken to the hospital where they kept her to gain control of her erratic blood pressure which caused the light-headedness. It was soon discovered that in her compromised state she had contracted COVID as well.
Many times, I spoke to her sharing God’s Word. She could barely be heard because she was so weak. But the Lord would place in my heart a particular scripture to share with her. It was around day 7 the doctors were discussing their next move, and that was to move her to a rehab facility to help get her blood pressure stable. She had gotten over COVID and her doctors felt this was best move. On day 10 they were still talking of sending her to rehab, but a word was spoken over her that she would be “going home”. That word was spoken to her in early afternoon on Saturday and she was in her driveway at 10:30 that night! Praise the Lord!
She is still recuperating but doing so much better at home.
National Day of Prayer
It’s time to stop celebrating birthdays for this COVID pandemic. There are occasions in the Bible where disease moved upon a people and the pestilence (disease) was halted by prayer. On May 5 is America’s National Day of Prayer. I was impressed to write the president of that organization to include a day of fasting as well as contact influential Christian leaders to join her efforts on that day. Essentially there would be a unified effort to go before God that day. Of course, COVID has to be stopped globally for any single nation to enjoy relief. Our Christian leaders have global connections so that is also achievable.
I sent the following letter to many Christian leaders in this country. I have omitted their names in this publication.
The Letter
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
As I engulfed myself in my usual first of the year 21-day consecration, there was nothing usual about it. The Lord placed a burden on my heart to write you and ask you as leaders of the church he has appointed for this season, that you unite as one and stand in the gap for our nation on May 5, the National Day of Prayer. That you would work with the president of National Day of Prayer, Kathy Branzell, to make that a day of fasting and prayer so that the church in America will show herself prostrate before the Lord crying out not only for our nation but all the nations of the world for God to stop this pandemic. As men and women of God I pray you feel this call too and stand in the gap as one united church. I’m sending this to as many as I can think of but I know I’ve missed so many more. Please network and pull in all your fellow pastors from regional to local levels to “bring down heaven” on May 5. God has made you powerhouses of faith and given you platform for such a time as this. Thank you all for what God is going to do through you.
2 Chronicles 7:13-14
13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Take Care of My Temple
This time has not only been a time of cleansing the soul and feeding the spirit, it has been a time to flush the body of toxins. On day 22, I start with a clean slate and the Lord tells me to take care of his temple. Watch what I consume. Watch how much I consume. Now that my stomach has shrunk, no need to re-enlarge it because I will start consuming solid foods again. The amazing thing is I chose to do a liquid fast for 21 days. For the purpose of teaching, I reveal this to you, not to gain any reputation of sorts. I know what the Bible says about keeping your fast private. But for the purpose of revealing a miracle I must let you know the type of fast I chose. I’ve never done it before but I chose to do the liquid fast for 21 days. I asked the Lord to do me like he did Jesus in Matthew 4:2 when it says he was hungry after the 40 days of fasting. I asked God to not let me feel any hunger pangs. Here’s where I need a drum roll!
I had NO hunger pangs! I had slight headaches occasionally, my stomach growled and I felt sensations of being hungry but NO HUNGER PANGS!
Who says God is not real? Who says He doesn’t hear us?
Peace Out!
There were many other things the Lord spoke to me and did for me during this Fast. Some I’ve shared here; some I need to keep to myself. God even kept my mother and I from personal harm of fire during this time. We were under his wings.
I have one thing left to say…
I’m so in love with Jesus and I hope this journey has drawn you closer to Him.
Oh yeah! This really is the last thing.

Beautiful blog. Thanks for sharing the ladies prayer report. Praise God she returned home. Thank you for your obedience to hear from the Lord and also to obey contacting the leaders about the National Day of Prayer and Fasting.
